Nightly, memories of yesterday
tear through the clouds of happiness
thinking of the perfection
once tasted so sweet
Smoke fills the air
image of cherries upon my lips
sometimes i imagine your hands upon mine
embraced in a simple clutch

nightmares of yesterday spill in my mind
chances of unnatural meeting
chances of a very unnatural chemistry
before we know it, the leaves are falling
against your skin
against your smile

forbidden feelings grace your smile
forbidden thoughts grace your every word
and the look brought on by the every pleasure
reminds me of nothing natural
just say it and leave
remember that its not real
its only the fall leaves
clouding your every judgement
